A Day in the Life of Your Child at my Childminding Services: 9 AM – 5 PM
Welcome to a day filled with care, creativity, and learning! Elisa, an experienced early childhood educator with expertise in the Montessori and Waldorf approaches, and Gabby, a dedicated and nurturing teacher, provide your child with a warm and enriching environment. Our childminding services offer a perfect balance of structure and freedom, allowing your child to explore, play, and grow at their own pace. 9:00 AM – Arrival and Free Play
As soon as your child arrives, they are welcomed with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The morning starts with free play, allowing them to choose from various toys, books, and activities. This time encourages creativity and helps children settle in.
10:00 AM – Circle Time and Educational Activities
Next up is circle time! Children gather to sing songs, listen to stories, and share news. It’s a wonderful way to build social skills and a sense of community. 11:00 AM – Outdoor Play

12:00 PM – Lunch Time

3:00 PM – Creative Arts and Crafts
Post-nap, we dive into arts and crafts. Whether it’s painting, drawing, or creating with clay, these activities encourage self-expression and fine motor skills. The children love taking their masterpieces home!
3:30 PM – Structured Play and Learning Activities
Our afternoon continues with structured play. This could include building with blocks, engaging in sensory play, or exploring puzzles. These activities are designed to stimulate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
4:00 PM – Snack Time

5:00 PM – Pick-Up and Goodbyes

Recently, I had the delightful experience of hosting childcare for a birthday party and creating a dedicated play area complete with face paint, glitter tattoos, and games for 20 kids aged 1 to 10 years old. Here’s how it went and some tips if you’re thinking about doing the same!
