One of the things I love most about caring for children at weddings is seeing them become part of the celebration in their own way. The excitement, the curious questions, the little dance moves—they bring something truly special to the day.
But a wedding can feel like a very long day when you’re little. Sometimes children want to run and play. Sometimes they need a quiet story, a familiar face, or someone who listens carefully to something that feels very important to them.
That’s the heart of what we do at Elisa Babysitting.

A little space for their own kind of fun
My team and I provide on-site childcare at weddings, giving children a welcoming place to enjoy themselves while their parents celebrate nearby.
We follow the children’s interests and energy, making room for games, creative activities, and quieter moments. We never expect every child to join in straight away. Some arrive ready to make friends; others need a little time and gentle encouragement. Both are welcome.
For me, the most rewarding moments are often the smallest: a shy child asking to join a game, a burst of laughter over something wonderfully silly, or a little one proudly showing a parent what they’ve made.
Care for the children, breathing space for the parents
We know that leaving your child with someone new takes trust. It matters to us that parents feel heard and that children feel comfortable with the people caring for them.
Our experience helps us adapt, but it’s our patience, warmth, and genuine enjoyment of being with children that shape the care we provide. While you listen to the speeches, catch up with loved ones, or enjoy a dance, we’re nearby, giving your little ones the attention they need.
Why I love this work
I love that our work can help a whole family enjoy such a meaningful day. Children deserve more than simply waiting for the grown-ups to finish celebrating—they deserve happy memories of their own.
Being trusted to care for them is a responsibility my team and I take to heart. And being part of those little moments of joy? That’s what makes this job so special to me.
