A Magical Christmas Wedding

There is something truly enchanting about Christmas weddings. The soft lights, the winter atmosphere, the festive music in the background… everything feels warmer, calmer, and filled with a special kind of magic. And as a wedding nanny, I get to witness that magic up close—through the eyes of the little ones I care for.
This Christmas season, I had the joy of looking after two of the most adorable flower girls. From the moment I arrived, they were bursting with excitement, proudly showing me their dresses and practising their “big walk” for the aisle. Children bring such an authentic touch to weddings—they feel everything so deeply, and their happiness spreads to everyone around them.
As a wedding nanny, my duties include:
✨ Helping with dressing, hair accessories, and photo preparations
✨ Managing emotions and energy levels (Christmas excitement is real!)
✨ Providing fun, calm, and engaging entertainment
✨ Guiding them through ceremony roles like walking the aisle or photos
✨ Ensuring they eat, rest, and feel comfortable throughout the day
✨ Evening and nighttime care while parents enjoy the celebration
These three little girls were absolute stars. They walked the aisle beautifully—focused, proud, and full of Christmas magic. After their moment, we spent time playing, doing crafts, reading festive stories, and enjoying quiet time when needed. I always bring my own little “wedding nanny kit” with toys, books, and creative activities tailored for each age, and the girls loved every bit of it.
As the night grew cosy and the lights twinkled around us, I settled them into their pyjamas, helped them wind down, and made sure they drifted off peacefully while their parents celebrated nearby, knowing their children were safe and happy.
