Supporting Women in Sport – On-Site Childcare by Elisa Babysitting

In November, Elisa Babysitting had the honour of supporting Sport Ireland’s Women in Sport event by providing a complete on-site childcare room at the Crowne Plaza Blanchardstown. It was an inspiring day celebrating women’s achievements in sport, and we were delighted to ensure that mothers and families could fully participate, knowing their children were in safe, fully insured hands.
We created a dedicated childcare space designed to be safe, engaging, and inclusive for children aged 18 months to 13 years. With a total of 15 children throughout the day, our highly professional team ensured every age group had meaningful and age-appropriate activities, including support for children with special needs.
✔ What We Provided
To offer a high-quality childcare experience, we set up:
- A creative craft station with colouring, festive art, stickers, and hands-on activities
- A quiet play area for younger children, including sensory toys, soft play mats, books, and puzzles
- Group games and structured activities for older kids to keep them entertained and active
- A calm and welcoming environment so parents could enjoy the event with complete peace of mind

I was joined by Lorena, Raquel, and Taiane, a team of experienced, Garda-vetted, and fully insured childcare professionals. They were fantastic in supporting all children, including those with additional and special needs, ensuring a smooth, safe, and joyful experience for every family.
